Ramírez de Arellano, Esq., CPA, a Wharton School Graduate, with a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center, in Washington, D.C., returned to Puerto Rico in 1979; clerked for the Hon. William H. Beckerleg, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge and was his Bankruptcy Law teaching assistant at the Inter American School of Law; worked as an associate at a major corporate law firm in San Juan, representing the Bank of America, and businesses in financial, corporate and bankruptcy matters.
Due to his extraordinary legal and professional background, and immediate client base, in 1982, Sergio A. Ramírez de Arellano, Esq., CPA, was able to establish his own law firm in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as SERGIO A. RAMIREZ DE ARELLANO LAW OFFICES, to provide default-related services, and commercial and residential lending services to a prominent regional bank; and to provide bankruptcy services to debtors, trustees, examiners, creditors and parties in interest.
